it's going to be a really busy week for me, so pardon me for slow updates.
i'm definitely not a person who can stand crowds, and i love shopping only when everything's nice and quiet, and when the new stocks come in. unfortunately it's the school holidays so it means it's doubly packed, especially cos x'mas is coming, so shopping has been extra hectic with so many people who are not looking to buy anything but just to go out and irritate true shoppers at heart, and extra large families who just cannot handle their children, and apparently have a talent in doing nothing but producing completely useless products as fruit of their loins, although i must say the products are not unlike their predecessors, and definitely not a new and improved version, and they just have to produce more and more to populate the already over-populated with idiots singapore. true the government is calling for a bigger family, but i don't think anyone appreciates it when the product serves to be completely useless and talentless-a complete unimproved replica of the parents.
let's just say happy as i am shopping, there have been plenty of negative factors recently that make it not as pleasant as it usually it. and with lots to do, plenty of shopping, but unrelenting huge crowds refusing to budge, i completely lost it. i'm not one to shoot my mouth off at the drop of a hat, but just the other day i grabbed hold of this ickle' cutesy little boy -only to his mother and grandmother who were gazing at him aodringly- who was running about crabtree&evelyn with the encouragement of the mentioned. i'd like to think that although not the most exclusive of places, crabtree is still a rather upmarket place to be in. i'd be more relenting if it were in a food court, although i do think it's just wrong to let your kid(s) run astray anywhere, but it's just gets worse in a more upscale place. and no i don't care if you have the money to shop in there,(and for pete's sake you didn't buy anything in the end after browsing for 1 hour and talking a hell lot), you should spend all that money sending your child for behavioural and ettiquette lessons. anyhow i was browsing through their catalogues and chatting with the girl who took down all my orders- as usual i bought too much so they delivered everything, the boy was wreaking havoc in the shop, running about wildly, shoving and pushing me for the whole time i was in there. i finally lost it when he started smacking my butt repeatedly and on purpose, so i grabbed hold of him and gave his delusional mother a piece of my mind. it is not cute when your child is about 7 years old and still hasn't learnt how to behave. not only have you encouraged such disgusting behaviour, you further encourage your child to indulge in molest.
point is, just stop having children. please.anyway, viva la shopping! much shopping to be done this week, from makeup-im giving out stila stuff to some people for x'mas(hint hint), some estee lauder, and clothes along the likes of dkny. and yes the crabtree&evelyn stuff are also meant for x'mas, so you get the drift.
some of my new items.
my new gucci pumps! i wanted the high-heeled version but it was out of stock. i've decided to christen it the label whore no 12390128301. that's cos the ferragamos and marc jacobs have taken label whore no 1, 2,3...and you get the drift. yeah i know, i'm rather creative with names.
and my latest gadget obssession!
another hello kitty phone. this would make it a grand total of 9 phones lying around at home. i heart gadgets.
uncle shopaholic says it's waaaay too girly, but i don't care. i'm all girl.
in other news,
congrats! to the friends who won medals at SEA games. i know some of you were disappointed with your showing, but i'm proud of you nonetheless.
and
the sweetest 7th month anni! to my old man. i know you constantly shut one eye about my incessant money spending, and i love you for everything. bangkok and prague baby. we'll see each other soon.
and
i'll be heading to hongkong, bangkok and taipei next month-finally! going to HK to set up a bank account, and consolidate some other matters, thus i get to squeeze in crazy happy shopping, good feasting, great clubbing-dragon i i miss you!, and disneyland. and then bangkok and taipei for pure shopping ecstasy. will also set up a swiss bank account, and then another bank account for euros to be used during vienna. i've been considering seeking asset management, but daddy's right to say that we can handle it on our own. and i must say dad's doing a great job- everything's mine, although i did ask for the money to be invested properly. so now from no bank accounts- i don't practise the good habit of saving-, i've got a HK account, a Swiss account and a Viennese one. what can i say, my parents really love me. and i love them too.
day out with my favourite girls tomorrow, so tahtah!

tis' a bumper shopping week.which also means,
tis' a spending money week,and
tis' a exuberantly jubilant and happy week for me.superficial or not, i am a firm subscriber to retail therapy. i cannot deny the great joy i take in buying pretty things just because, and yes i admit to having too many nice things for my own good, but it makes me oh-so happy. i think shopping should honestly be a sport in itself. at least in my case, although i wouldn't say im someone who really hems and haws at buying an item, i zip into a shop, pull out the nice things, and go. sometimes i try them, sometimes i don't. but i run all around town to look through the new items available, which means i get a good workout from all that walking. not to mention the mental work i go through, from choosing the nicest colours, to determining if the price is right. and i do get all smiley faced from the obtaining of something new that i like, but it's not the sole purpose in my life. and it's not just shopping for me, it's when i buy stuff for a loved one, or even when my friends buy something from themselves, i get all clammy from the excitement that's threatening to erupt from all crevices possible.
anyway, i've stopped posting photos of whatever i buy because i figured it looked like i was overly crazy about shopping. but anyhow, someone recently said that it was sad not to see anymore photos on my blog, so i'll just post a few.
crazy shopping this week. loading up on everything for travel, or should i say, my emigration. and i guess because i'm leaving pretty soon, my parents have been doubly nice to me because it's just a few more months before i'm gone and i'm left to suffer in german hell alone.
my pretty mommy. went to sun with moon to eat with godma in tow as well. the food's quite good, and the place is rather pretty.
tori kamameshi.
sukiyaki. this is really good.
katsu don with potato salad.
the portions are rather big, so if you can, just share them.
shopping's been really good. bought plenty of tees and dresses.and accessories. and chocolates. and everything else. now question is, where and when will i wear them. i think i shall hold a garage sale of my clothes and bags. anyone interested?
one of the tees. i didn't have much time to take photos of everything i bought, and neither am i interested in splashing photos of what i've bought on my blog for personal reasons, therefore this is the only photo of me.
for the wintry cold of vienna. sheesh there isn't an embassy here, only a commercial counsellor. i need to go get my visa done soon, or else i'll really have to return to singapore after 3 months before going back again. i haven't decided exactly when to leave, since illyssia's been delayed till may. now im wondering if i should leave according to plan in feb, or to wait for her. daniella's dirtied the room, dropped food all over the carpet and not done up the spotlights or anything, therefore it means i have nowhere to stay either until everything's done. but i think i will go ahead and find somewhere else to stay for the time being. or else i'll run up to salzburg first to check out the mozartieum universitat.
i bought lots of jewellery to boot. i have this sudden obessession with necklaces.
from my favourite store. it always feels like christmas in there.
one of my purchases! there are a few in the bag, but the main favourite one-elsa perretti's being custom made for me, so it hasn't arrived. oh i love tiffany's.
bought so much chocolate that i requested for delivery. from godiva to royce. mom's said to ask the friends to all come over and eat, so girls, please come over to eat.
now it's off to meet cherry, and then gucci with mom. gucci pumps and luggage here i come.
till then,
i <3 shopping.
